Fundraising
Barton Le Clay Pre-School is a registered charity (Registered Charity Number 1023883).
Our main income is from the government funding received for the funded children. These fees only cover our rent, staff salaries and insurance.
Fundraising meets all other costs. For example toys, books, equipment, paint, paper, provisions etc. are all provided by fundraising. So in order to purchase new equipment or pay for visitors that will enhance children's learning, we must Fundraise!
Our Fundraisers are committee members, many with children at Pre-School and they stage different events to generate funds throughout the year.

Easyfundraising is a FREE service where funds can be raised for any charity, trust, school, club, good cause or community group you support when you shop online. Barton-Le-Clay Pre-school has recently set up an account and we are, therefore, trying to encourage parents and friends to use this service when purchasing online. There are over 200 of the UK's best known retailers including many popular names such as NEXT, Amazon, Debenhams, John Lewis and HMV. Just shop using the links on their site and for every purchase you make a percentage of this (up to 15% in some cases) will be donated straight to our preschool. It doesn't cost a penny extra to shop and raise funds for our cause using their site. All you need to do is register at easyfundraising.org.uk (clicking the link will automatically select the Barton-Le-Clay Pre-school charity). Why not raise funds for us making purchases you would make anyway?
There are a number of ways that you can help:
Make free cash donations to our Pre-School by doing your online shopping through easyfundraising.org.uk. Over 200 shops give cash donations to charities like ours.
By attending and supporting our fundraising events throughout the year. This is by far our most important and successful way of raising funds and you can help by giving up your time to help on the day and/or donating raffle prizes and cakes to sell.
